Carolyn, a native of Austin, Texas, began dancing at the age of four at Dancer’s Workshop. She was a proud member of the Vandegrift High School cheer team, where she developed a strong foundation in cheerleading and tumbling. After high school, she started coaching tumbling and competitive acro with Texas’s first club acrobatics and tumbling team, working closely with coaches from Baylor and the University of Oregon.
Carolyn had the unique opportunity to dance professionally for the Cedar Park Punishers, a minor league football team. Her greatest accomplishment came when she earned a spot as a Silver Dancer for the San Antonio Spurs, which deepened her love and appreciation for high-level performance.
After her time in San Antonio, Carolyn returned to Austin to continue coaching tumbling and competitive cheerleading at the All-Star level with Austin Tumbling Academy in Hudson Bend. Throughout her journey, she discovered her true passion for teaching and inspiring young athletes. She loves helping those she works with build strength, confidence, and coordination through movement.
Now a wife and proud mother of two, Carolyn has spent the past two years in Charleston, South Carolina, pursuing new goals with her family. She is thrilled to return home to the Austin area and put down roots in Leander. With many years of experience in dance, tumbling, and acrobatics, Carolyn is excited to share her knowledge and enthusiasm for movement with the next generation of dancers.
