Upon graduation, Maddie moved to Oklahoma City where she began her journey at Oklahoma City University where she was a dance performance major. Maddie was on the OCU Pep DANCERS, where she performed at half time for her school‘s basketball team. Maddie was a member of the American Spirit Dance Company for four seasons.

During her summer breaks, Maddie attended summer intensives in New York where she trained with the world-famous Rockettes and learned many of their techniques and routines.
