Haley Sung is originally from South Korea, where she received Korean folk dance and ballet training at the age of eight. She earned her B.F.A. in Dance from University of the Arts with a “Promising Artist” Scholarship in May 2017 and further studied dance at The Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp in Belgium. She has performed globally in Korea, France, Italy, and Luxembourg and has performed within the U.S. at venues such as The Metropolitan Museum, The Joyce Theatre, and Jacob’s Pillow. She has taught at prestigious establishments such as Juilliard School, San Jose State University, Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, University of Minnesota, and more. Most recently, Haley has worked as a creative associate with GALLIM on the NYC Ballet’s Fall 2020 Season. She currently works as a dancer, collaborator, and mentor with GALLIM and MG + Artists based in New York. She is excited to share her knowledge and experience from the concert dance industry with the students at MUV!
