Amanda has been dancing since the age of 2. She danced competitively for 12 years for various studios in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Amanda now lives in Austin, TX where she trains as a professional ballroom dancer with her partner, Eyne. They travel all around the country competing at prestigious competitions and partaking in workshops and seminars. She currently works as a ballroom dance instructor for Dance With Me USA which is owned by Maks and Val Chmerkovskiy from Dancing With The Stars. Amanda started her teaching career at age 14 and has continued sharing her love of dance through teaching ever since. Amanda has not only always loved competing but performing as well. Productions/performances she has been involved in include, OZ with Todrick Hall, The Nutcracker, Good Morning Texas, dancing backup for Regan Strand, and many more! She has also had the pleasure of working with some of the industry’s top teachers/choreographers such as Jenn Freeman, Hailey Hoffman, Kiki Nyemchek, Koko Iwasaki, Lacey Schwimmer, Chelsea Thedinga, Justin Giles, and others. Dancing/teaching are such big and important parts of Amanda’s life and she hopes to continue doing them forever!
