Abbey is from Abbeville, Louisiana. She has been dancing her whole life training underneath her mother at her home studio, Dance Connection. She started her training in ballet, tap & jazz for several years and has had many accomplishments in her youth career. In High School, she was on her dance team and was a company assistant for Streetz Dance Convention & Competition for 6 years. After high school, Abbey went to Louisiana State University and taught tap, jazz, ballet & hip-hop at Jean Leigh Academy of Dance during her time in college. Abbey was also a Universal Dance Association staff member for 3 years & taught dance teams throughout the state of Louisiana. After college, Abbey coached Teurlings Catholic High School for 3 years. They are a nationally ranked dance team that placed in the Top 3 in Large Varsity HipHop and Game Day in 2023 and 2024. Abbey also has also led the teen and senior Elite Company at Dance Connection, where she choreographed several award winning pieces. Abbey has recently moved to Austin and is super excited to grow and learn with Müv. Her goal is to never stop learning and to always push her students to be the best version of themselves!
