McKenzie-Rae Anderson has 16 years of studio training (Dancers Workshop-Austin) as well as 4 years of dance team training.  She served as a 2 year captain of the award-winning Leander High School Blue Belles where she won many accolades for her solos and choreography for both her team and surrounding schools.  She was recognized for her contemporary piece in “The Weaving” which was performed at Lincoln Center in New York City.

At 18 she set off for Los Angeles where she was selected for the prestigious Edge Scholarship program.  After training with some of the best teachers in the business, she signed with BLOC talent agency. McKenzie can be seen on the TV shows Glee, X Factor, Bunheads, and Friday Night Lights.  She has also done commercial work for Amazon, Prius and Toms and recently worked with choreographer-Mandy Moore on an upcoming dance movie with Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.  McKenzie has also traveled abroad, performing with German pop star, Helene Fischer.  She currently assists and is being mentored by Helene Phillips and Lisa Eaton, who are among some of LA’s well-known teachers and choreographers.  She has taught across the state of Texas ,both in studios and for dance teams.  Kenzie considers herself a chameleon as she is proficient in all genres of dance including ballet, jazz, pointe, contemporary, jazz-funk, hip-hop, and tap. She brings a contagious enthusiasm to all of her classes as she shares her passion for the arts!
